Are you a teacher or youth leader and would like to teach your students about activism and the impact of litter on an ecosystem while giving them a hands-on opportunity to protect our watershed? Let us know!
There are several ways to get involved in this year’s cleanup. Choose the option that works best for your group! This is a popular event with hundreds of participants. Sites fill up fast.
Option 1: Sign your class/group up for a cleanup site or restoration site TODAY to participate on the day of the cleanup – Saturday, September 16th.
Option 2: Participate in the Clean-a-thon. This is an online fundraiser where your group creates an online fundraising page to encourage family and friends to support your effort. Half of the funds raised by your class/group go to keeping the Yuba clean, healthy and safe, and the other 50% goes to your group. This can be used however you like including funds to go toward Salmon Tours – if you’re participating in one this year.
