Calling all Young Scientists, Grades K-5th

Join Detective Drizzle in hands-on activities that explore the water cycle. Come and get your hands wet as we investigate the mystery of the magical liquid upon which all life depends.

Hey, 6th through 8th Graders! Curious about where your water comes from? Or where it goes?

Join other curious students in making three-dimensional watershed maps and experimenting with how common pollutants travel through our rivers and streams. Be prepared to get messy and creative!

Fun for the Whole Family

Bring the whole family and join us for an afternoon of exploring the beautiful Lower Yuba River at the Yuba River Education Center. Enjoy a walk along the riverbank, view salmon habitat, get your hands and feet wet looking for salmon food (AKA bugs!), and play some fun and educational games. Please bring a full water bottle, sack lunch, sunscreen, hat, sunglasses, and signed waivers.
